Through Hondufuturo, at GFF we contribute to the development of honduran talent, financing young professionals with academic excellence so they may carry out their postgraduate studies at the best universities abroad.
During the last 7 years we have contributed to the advancement of 142 Honduran professionals, representing more than US $ 4.3 million in investment at the highest educational level.
Despite the pandemic, we maintained our commitment, providing support to 23 beneficiaries.
Growing with Diabetes Foundation
From within GFF, we supported and contributed to the Growing with Diabetes Foundation, which provides supplies and academic and psychological support to low-income children who are growing up with type 1 diabetes.
From our commitment to innovation, we have joined as contributing partners to the Tech4DevHN (Technologies for Development) initiative of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). It is executed by the Central American Technological University (UNITEC) and its objective is to strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Honduras, in order to focus innovative solutions in the health, education and security sectors.
The winners of the Technological Innovation Award (PIT) 2020 were:
• Betty App 1st place Marketplace for professional services.
• Dokto App 2nd place App to connect doctors and patients.

We also had trainers and mentors belonging to the areas of Corporate Image, Legal, Entrepreneur Banking, Human Talent and TENGO, who invested 20 hours for the preparation of workshops, teaching and mentoring.
Finally, as GFF, we invested US $ 34,000 in cash, which went into advertising, prizes in seed capital for the winners, production of the closing event, and giveaways.
By joining this initiative, we are committed to contributing
US$ 500 thousand
every year during a three-year period (2020-2023), with the goal of strengthening the PIT, emblematic event for the Tech4DevHN project, which we carry out together with our sponsors (La Tribuna, Fundación TVC, Unitec, BID LAB).
